sleepover's PACKING LIST.

Hey sisters ♥

Tomorrow will be our 1st Official Sleepover session at Jenna's house :)

*CHEERS AND SCREAMS AND APPLAUDS*

Please make your own way to Jenna's house (I think everyone of you know where her place is right!). We will have dinner at her place, japanese! Please be at her house at 6:30pm :)

After dinner will be followed by a snugglycosywarm dvd/movie session and/or board games! :)

After that, we'll wash up, and start our chitchat session before we turn in ♥
* I cant wait for this part cos it's time we all catch up with one another seriously!*

The next morning!!! Hopefully it's going to be a lovely sunny day! :) We will make our own pancakes for breakfast!!! YUMMMMMMMY. IF it's sunny, we'll go to the beach! And if it's a lovely gloomy day (HAHA lovely and gloomy doesnt go together, eh?), we'll go to museums and have a little MS tour :D

We'll head back to Jenna's place at the end of the day to collect our things and it's the end of our sleepover session :) It should be around mid-afternoon, all activities should be ending around there :)

Here comes the PACKING LIST!!!!

HYGIENE.

1) Toiletries
- Toothbrush
- Your own shampoo/conditioner/soap (If you've your own preferences!)
- Facial Wash (If you've your own preferences!)

2) Towel (and face towels, if you need)

CLOTHING.

3) Undergarments

4) Tshirt and shorts for sleeping.

IF we're going to the beach,
5) A casual tee

6) Shorts (you can wear the shorts which you slept in if you want)

IF we're going to the museum,
7) Something not sloppy, not going-to-the-beach kind of look. (Dont need to be ultra glamness also hor! Heh.)

8) You can bring another set of casual clothes to be worn when you're going home.
(You'd probably want to bathe again when we get back to Jenna's house after one full day of activities out in the sun)

FOOTWEAR.

9) Slippers/Sandals/Flats
(* Maybe you can wear sandals that can be worn to both the beach and museum kind to jenna's place directly tomorrow. So you dont have to bring so many pairs of footwear ya?)

MISC.
10) Wallet/Cash (with own discretion)

11) Plastic bag (to keep your wet/dirty clothes and/or towels)

12) Another small bag to carry your personal belongings when we go out!
(i dont think you'd want to carry that big bag with all your clothes etc out to the beach or museum right?)

And last but not least,

Mia Sorelle's 1st sleepover!

Hello dear sisters :)

Mela here! We're going to have our first MS official sleepover and I'm planning it! :) It's going to be at Jenn's house (thank you jenn's parents for allowing us girls to have our sleepover)! :D And so far, it's set on the 10th June. We will spend the night over at Jenn's place, wake up the next morning, have breakfast, probably have an outing to somewhere and basically spend time with each other. I just wanna confirm the date first so details of where we're going/what we're doing will not be out yet alrighty! :D (OR we can have activities on the 10th, and just hang around and chill on the 11th)

So far, Jenna Elissa Meixuan Jem Cheryl and I can make it for the sleepover. So that's 60% already. I know you MJ girls have exams after the break therefore we'll have our sleepover session asap so as not to interrupt any revisions/study sessions/mugging later in the holidays.

I'm currently waiting for Bella, Kaho's and Chuinchi's reply! :) Chuinch, no hurries ok i know you have something on the 11th and you havent ask your parents. I'll get kaho's reply by tomorrow and bella's reply as soon as she finishes her dinner.

Ying has a camp so i'm not sure :/

Hi MS.

I know leongying has posted somewhat on this already, but i wanted to say something too.

Its really hard, not seeing you guys.

I love my new school, love the people, love my class, love my CCA. Love the fact that 40% of MS is here with me.

Hate the fact that 60% of you are somewhere else.

Its so easy to find good friends and cliques but its so difficult to find Sisters, does anyone get what i mean?
There isnt leongying there when i need to be damn silly and jump around one sec and emo around the next.
There isnt Sa when i need a big sister. (or a bucket)
There isnt Jenn when i need to scream.
There isnt Chuinch when i need to feel better.
There isnt Mela when i need a hug.
There isnt Kaho when i need a someone to rant with me.

And its not like i see Xuan, bells and cheryl around a whole lot. Yes, i see them often, but not really, since im in Arts and they're in Science and esp Bell, who;s not in choir.

Its really difficult when i need ten (okay nine, sa scolded me and said i cant say i have TEN sisters when im one of the ten, hahah) different takes on things too personal to tell other people, Nine sisters to confide in, nine sisters to tell people:Hey, this is my family, they're my sisters you know?

Alright, i guess i just wanted to say it feels weird without you guys.

I really really miss you guys. It's just different without you guys at school. True, I'm happy with busying myself with activities, I'm satisfied, but when it comes to social life, not having you guys around is just different. :( I miss the times I could just walk down on floor and still see a few of you guys, now it's just so hard to meet up and I hardly ever see Ying in school except during lectures. I sound like I'm suffering from MS-withdrawal symptoms haha. I miss the fact that there'll be someone there for me whenever I needed to confide in someone, a lot.

AHSCHOIR SYF 2009

Hello, MS.

AHSCHOIR syf 2009 is on the 16th April at our favourite place holding most of our memories, VCH. They're having the first afternoon slot at 2pm, and they're doing the set piece White Horses, plus their two choice pieces Maiden of Miao, and Ave Maria.

From what ive heard, they're having the same SYF date as TKSS (Choir of the year 2007) and VS. I think. Im not sure about the VS part but the TKSS one is confirmed. Can anyone check if Cathigh is on that day as well? :O

Ive checked with Bentwy and he has only 10 tickets. Im not sure if that includes the tickets for him and miss farah to watch or not, hopefully Mrs J. Yeo wont feel a compulsive need to go watch ahschoir and reduce the number of available tickets further.

I need you guys to confirm with me if you guys are going for it. I know the JC people will probably have to either skip school completely (which i think im doing) or run out from school halfway if you guys want to make it in time to watch them live. Sorry about that, that's how the balloting system works sigh.

So far Mela Chuinchi Jenna and I are most probably going, i still have to pass it through my mum. Please let me/bentwy know ASAP if you want tickets, because im sure this invatation extends to like MB as well so there may not be enough for us all to go watch if MB decides to fight with us for SYFtickets.

For those who cant skip school, the results show is at about 5pm i guess? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try to make it for the results show at least. This is AHSChoir we're talking about.

It's Mela here!! I'm so sorry cos I've been out for almost the whole day and reached home only at 11:40pm or so. Okay it's me updating/posting reminders again.

Tomorrow's our first Caroling session, please do remember to get a few things done.

1) Attire
-Black long sleeve, collar'ed, shirt.
-Black pants (skinnyjeans is fine)
-Black shoes (No revealing of your little toes alright girls) Covered shoes!

2) Scores/File
- Go get the sequence right, arrange the scores properly, make sure you have ALL scores and make sure you know what youre going to sing.
-BLACK file.

3) Light makeup (The word is LIGHT .)
-Blusher
-Eyeshadow (not too dark/gloomy colours alright! :])
-Lip Gloss.
*No need for what Eye liner or mascara actually okie.

That's basically it.

Now, the TIME and place.
It's FOUR:FORTYpm, 4:40pm, 1640. ORCHARD MRT STATION, probably near control station or something alright?

If you only have ONE black shirt, then please wear something else and then change into it later cos you'll have to depend on that ONE black shirt for all 4 sessions.

HEY MS! :)

Tomorrow's prom, i dont know how many of you will see this before Prom!!!!! BUT, for those people who will see this, please remember to pack properly before you leave home tomorrow alright. Prepare and pack everything needed for the overnight stay at the hotel :) Bring your own toiletries please, we have ten people ! Bring a set of clothes for the next day, something to sleep in or at least comfortable beside the prom dress, MAKE UP REMOVER (impt!!!), the money to pay jenna for the room, the money to pay bella for the shimmery gel thing.. etc!

And, please do remember to wear something like a buttondown shirt or something like our choir tee (With the zip that one) when youre doing your hair. Cos when youre changing in the hotel, you wont DESTROY your hairdo. Please do bring plasters as welll, just in case okay! AND, try not to run around and start perspiring before prom even starts. We have soundcheck/briefing/rehearsal(?) before prom begins, so our makeup will have to last through the whole night, we be cool/glam and just not be kanchiong k. RELAX, tomorrow's performance will be a happy one! Like what you girls told me, as long as we're happy (and TOGETHER), we'll make it! :) And we'll enjoy it ! :)

Although im alittle worried/nervous, but hahahahaha, this is mela k. no choice.

Hi, mainly to "rockson", i dont know why you dont like the idea of us singing Umbrella. Firstly, you havent even heard us sing. Secondly, we're singing ACAPELLA, we're working out the whole song without the help of the original music scores which we do not have btw, it sounds alittle different overall. Who knows, it may sound fresh and enjoyable to others. Thirdly, if you really dont like us singing that song because of personal reasons or something, I am absolutely sorry but we'll still go on with it. We cannot change and let our hard work go down the drain because of ONE person. We've been practicing for awhile now already you see. Perhaps you would just like to distract yourself by talking to your friends for around 3 minutes or less while we sing that song? Or you can be brave and just listen to us, you'd never know how things will turn out to be right? I'm apologetic that you do not like the idea of us singing Umbrella during OUR prom, but at the same time, the decision is made, we're practicing really hard, putting in our all, and we will not choose another song. We do have another 2 songs to present to you all though (besides Umbrella) !

I hope you'd think about it, we're working really hard and let's hope you'll applaud for MS together with others after our performance to acknowledge our hard work for all these while during prom alright!

Hey loves! we've been meeting to practice every morning for the past few days, and we still have lots more to do before the prom performance. So lets just give it our best(:

well anyway i thought i should update on our hotel room at orchard hotel on prom night. Mavis got us a room for $248.80! since meemah cant stay over thats about $28 per person. if ying cant go too it'll be about $31. so START SAVING. we'll pay mavis back on the day itself.

yup thats about it. if you're free the day after prom (27th) i think xuan has something planned.

K BASICALLY, Here's the video link of a performance i found which i think is quite not bad ! The sound is pretty clear, they've eleven girls (quite close to us), we have ten. Hello dear MS! Today's graduation ceremony was pretty fun aye! :)

HAHAHA, okay anyway! Mx, Jem and I (Mela) met at the staff room before we went home today, then we talked alittle about the outing we have on 13th Nov! :)
Okay basically, it's my wish (HAHA since last yr's choir camp) to have STEAMBOAT (DINNER!) together :) So i was thinking, 13th Nov - DINNER - steamboat? AYE AYE AYE? Hahahaha meixuan is looking forward to it too! :) And regarding the VENUE, if ANYONE can 'lend' us your cute warm house for the steamboat, it's fantastic! :) BUT if we cant get anyone's house, we'll go like, BUGIS or something alright? :)

Okay, that settles the first issue.

Secondly, Jem says 14th Nov MS can get together too! We were thinking breakfast together (Macs?) at ECP then cycle(?) then BBQ lunch(?) then spending time together in the sun, wind, etcetc! :) I placed the (?)s there because i'm not sure exactly too but I think we should just relax and spend a day at a place like the beach or something! Not intense crazy shopping trips YET but just a relaxing day at the beach with the waves, wind, water, sun, trees, sand, breeze, you get what i mean :) SO, try keep 14th free too alright? It's time MS spend some days together and have fun again :)

Thirdly, I'm sure everyone has heard of High School Musical 3 : Senior Year, right? It sorta matches us isnt it? Senior year, graduation, etc. hahaha :D
Jem suggested a superb idea, we (MS) should watch it together with (whassat? MB?) Mia Boys? HAHAHAHHA. which is Chia's group of boys lah basically! (Like Chia, Choy, Youngyee, Kayat etc etc!) know know know? HAHA so i was thinking it'd be a great idea to watch this HSM with the choir boys and with MS cos i think its really meaningful! :) I'm not rlly sure when this is going to take place, maybe 14th? I need FIFTEEN people from different sections for our AHS alumni choir carolling gig at Isetan Scotts!

so far, i have confirmed myself, jenna, leongying, chia-a-a-a-a, chuinchi, kaho, kayat, & i need MORE people!

okay and see, i need you people to train your favourite choral technique, BLASTING. cos we're FIFTEEN people needing to cover SIX LEVELS worth of space, so we need to be LOUD. not that that is or ever was much of a problem, but please go revise all your blasting techniques and support and all because we need a good start to our alumni choir reputation. therefore, PLEASE dont go and spoil your throats anytime soon k!

so, since there are only 15 spaces we're currently limiting it only to our 2008 batch. if we cant fill it then im sure the seniors will love to join us (:

i need people who are free from the 19-24th december, drop me a sms telling me what days you're free and all. each of the 15 carollers will get a 50dollar isetan voucher, courtesy of isetan and we get 300dollars/gig to be wired into our bank account. so if you cant make it one of the days or smth, get someone to stand in for you and split the voucher (though i dont know how you can do that)

besides that, i need you guys to sms me if you are joining the alumni choir. this is regardless of whether or not you're in the carolling gig this time round. we have to decide on a name and it cannot be like anglican chorale cos if its anyth to do with ahs the school will kope our money and it'll be byebye to alumni choir teeshirt/costume/chalet/whatever.

also, as a side note, we'll probably be performing in the esplanade in the middle of next year as a guest item in the main choir's thingy. details to follow.

alright i have a thousand thing to say so here goes:

PROM PERFORMANCE

alright girls, sorry you had to hear from jem since its my work haha BUT thanks still, meemah!

yupp, so as she's already said, the plan for this yr's prom is that we're trying t do things a lil differently, so we're asking as many ppl we can find to perform, and yupp so now i'm asking my lovely friends whether they'd like to perform, we prob won't have any other chance already!(not counting carolling, ya?)

yeah, but they requested no fourpart choral singing; it can be anything--

- we can sing songs separately, 2/3/4/5 at a time, eg "never had a dream come true" etc, just to name a cliche one, latest songs, even solos its all up to us!

- we can sing acapella like you knw how we sang "beautiful girls" in prague with the background and all, haha!

that said, i doubt we'll be able to ask the band(s) to play for us cos its not as easy to coordinate as meemah says. we'll probably have to get a minus one etc etc.

NOTE:

this is totally open to whether you girls want to or not, PLEASE dnt feel obligated to say yes because its sasa who's doing this, i just want you all to have fun you knw!

PROM PERFORMANCE.

our darling MS sasa is in charge of this year's Prom Entertainment, and MS has been asked to perform!

im going to assume that we're gonna be doing a song, cos i dont think you all wanna dance wildcats in your dresses, however please give other suggestions if you want to do anything other than sing

yeah, so i need all of you to reply:

Okay hello dearest MS!

Why are we having this E-A-T-I-N-G competition? yes, E-A-T-I-N-G.
To see who can eat more (as quoted) eh? K, so what are we going to do after that? Go "YAY WE CAN EAT MORE ! WE HAVE BIGGER APPETITE! WE OWN! WE STUFFED MORE FOOOOD INTO OUR STOMACH(S)! " ? Hahaha. It's pointless. Can we compete in other things? Like Prelim results? which is a GOOD competition cos it can motivate us to study hard? Okay, eating competition. motivates us to what? Chew faster, eat more, have a bigger appetite? Lol. Enlighten me somebodaaaaye.

I dont mind MS eating together OF COURSE :D but is the competition really necessary? You'll just feel like EATING and EATING just to win them. Vice versa for them too. Okay, if we win, then the score will be 2:1, ms leading by one. Then!?!?!!? 1/9 will come up with a new competition to bring the score to 2:2. THEN?! One more competition will surface to break away from 2:2 and make it 2:3 or 3:2. AND THEN? Tell me more about it.

Eating competition, ho-hum.
20 girls gorging themselves with food at a japanese restaurant - laughs, laughing.

K, so can we come to a final decision? We're STILL going to eat TOGETHER as MS right? But maybe belle wont be with us. But the competition? Up to you girls.

HELLO its MS meemah/ MS jem here.

yes actually lets go swimming. but! i have a great suggestion. since cheryl's house is so near the SIA club,wanna go there and swim instead? i attended a few functions there before and the place is So glam.

the swimming pool is gorgeous and has a FREAKING PLAYGROUND right in the middle of the pool, half submerged in the water.

i see mela's face lighting up, just thinking of the photo opportunities already (:

so! if you all can make it friday after school, can cheryl check with her dad if he's a member? (he is right?) and if he is then maybe we can go there to swim. its SO glam, really.

also, theres a tennis court for those who cant really swim cos of whateverwhatevers. (:

so, please go back and ask your parents or aunty uncles if they have membership to the ultraglam SIA club! (its just behind cheryl's house, so CHERYL YOU ESPECIALLY go ask!)

Yayyyyeee (-does rain dance and sings Dumbelle) we have a blog and our photobucket account (which I am guilty of having not uploaded any photos yet, heh) and our wonderful memories and gorgeous pictures from Olomouc. Oh and our MS Shirt. Hmm are we still going down to ToaPayoh to give that guy trouble for the low-quality shirts? It's been uh, quite awhile..
